Um...not my best but in the spirit of the challenge I shall keep moving forward.  Do not think this one is complete, so suggestions for improvement will be greeted with the happy smile of artist fulfilled

Remember the false aching?
How imperfect beats forever trembled?
You believed the loving dagger with its false skin
like a sparkling jewel of promise
would end the yearning...
Your sweet emptiness would pass away
if only for brief moments
and that was good enough
to be called love.
